Vintage JIM’S GEMS Bronze Factory Flatware Set
Vintage Jim’s Gems Bronze Factory flatware set from Bangkok, Thailand. Produced during the mid-century era (c. 1950s–1960s), these sets were highly popular high-end souvenirs for tourists and military personnel stationed in Southeast Asia.
Complete 31 piece set which includes service for 8 plus various serving utensils.
Materials: The utensils are crafted from solid bronze or brass, and hand-cast and polished to a mirror finish. The handles are typically made from dark hardwoods native to Southeast Asia, such as rosewood, teak, or ebony.
Design: Each handle features hand-carved or stamped traditional Thai motifs.
Presentation: The set is housed in its original wooden chest with green velvet lining. One latch is missing from the case but the remaining latch does hold it closed.
Condition: Please review photos. For this set to be pristine it needs some work. Some wood has scratches and many of the pieces are tarnished, which is easily cleaned. Overall in great condition with no major damage.
